There is no need for a special interface radio station, directly linking the radio’s hand microphone port (transmitting positioning signal) and SP port (receiving positioning signal).

For other radio stations, you need to customize the hand microphone conversion line, and specific consultation.

51WG5 role

Connected to the SP port of a common radio station, 51WG5 has a built-in decoder to independently decode and output beacon data,

Upload APRS map server via WIFI (or optional 4G),

Link the Android mobile phone map APP or Apple mobile phone map APP via Bluetooth,

Expand the function of the radio station.

51WG5 is connected to the SP port of the radio. If you want to monitor the radio, you need to prepare an external speaker box.

51WG5 standard configuration: a host (built-in WIFI + dual-mode Bluetooth), a dedicated bracket, a dedicated power cord, a speaker wire, and a YAESU RJ11-6P conversion cable.
