The new FTM-400DR offers four modes: |
| V / D mode is voice and data communication at the same time. Maintain consistent, reliable digital voice and data communications using exceptionally powerful error correction capabilities. This mode will be the basic mode of C4FM FDMA digital HAM radio. |
| Voice FR mode uses the data capacity of full rate voice data. This mode enables you to deliver clear, high quality voice data. |
| Data FR Mode The data capacity used to transmit data at full rate. This mode allows you to transfer large amounts of data, text messages, images, voice memo data at double speed in V / D mode. |
| When the analog FM signal strength is weak, it causes the audio pull-down mode to be effective
in digital mode and to achieve the boundary of the noise level of the communication function. |

| Can choose any band at 50, 20 or 5 watts of power. Very enjoyable broadband reception from
108-470 and 800-999 MHz (minus the cellular). Four scan modes support: VFO, memory, programmable memory or selected memory. 500 Memories per band are available. Each memory stores frequency, mode, tag, forwarding information, tone, DCS, antenna mute information, memory skip information, and transmission output. The screen background can be set to any of five colors (green, blue, orange, purple, or gray). The FTM-400DR can take pictures and videos by connecting USB cameras (not provided) and sending and receiving them. There is a microSD card port. |
