FT-891 inherits the classic design of YAUSE transceiver once again. It has a solid and compact shell, and weighs only 1.9KG. It can provide excellent performance for portable and daily amateur radio operations. It can be equipped with a safety case or a backpack to take it out as a field device. Table is a good choice.

The FT-891 provides a reliable power output of up to 100 watts. The well-designed transmitter circuit is equipped with efficient internal dual fans to achieve constant temperature control. The die-cast base fully guarantees high reliability.

High-performance IF DSP, IF DSP adopts Texas Instruments 32-bit high-speed floating-point processor, which is optimized for high-performance audio applications. Yaesu’s own DSP, QRM and noise suppression functions can effectively reduce common random noise on shortwave.

The standard 3kHz roofing filter and 3kHz narrowband roofing filter are mainly used in very frequent frequency bands during competitions, which can significantly weaken strong interference signals outside the frequency band. The three-time frequency conversion is matched with a temperature-compensated crystal of the first-level intermediate frequency, which can provide high-frequency stability of ±0.5ppm even in the operating environment of -10°C~+50°C.

With the detachable panel design, the radio host and control panel can be separated with one button. Using the YSK-891 separation kit, the radio can be flexibly installed in the small space of the car and enjoy the fun of mobile communication.
